Some of you will have received letters from the Highways Agency confirming that the
westbound carriageway of the M50 is
being resurfaced - work to commence on 7th December 2009.
Although the letter doesn't say so, you
will be pleased to hear that new surface will be a low noise surface.
The Highways Agency tell us that there are no immediate plans to resurface the eastbound carriageway,
but rest assured that we shall be pressurizing them to do so.
